Your writing always seems to bring tears to my eyes…so much history …so much joy and so much pain in equal measures…all the voices from our ancestral past still singing to us like your sister and mother…and how wonderful that is to hear their voices resonating strength, resilience and so much heart.

Thank you for sharing with us all.

So poignant to read about your sister who has that song on repeat.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Michael.

Beautiful as always. The reason I have taken so long to respond is that I was in hospital with sepsis caused by a trapped kidney stone. Your song of ageing therefore resonates with me, and we sang the melodies of yesteryear at the first Seder organised by our quite new Jewish group in Hastings, England!

Dear Alison, I hope you are feeling better now. Lovely to hear about your Seder. Those songs are eternal.

Thank you. I still have a way to go but will get there. Along with Rocky! I love the way the songs reverberate afterwards. Like your writing!
